We often talk about needing protein as part of a well balanced diet but what is protein, really? Well, proteins are key components of every cell in every living organism. In fact, proteins direct nearly every activity of the cell. If we take a closer look we see proteins and how they're created when associated with your DNA prove God exists.
Each cell contains several thousand different proteins that perform a wide variety of functions. Some fight infections, some enable key chemical reactions, some create the cell structure itself, and so on.
Each protein is made up of long combinations of 20 different amino acids - between 50 and 800 amino acids with a rough average between 250 and 375. Those long strings of amino acids are also “folded” into various three dimensional shapes like wadded up pieces of string or wire. This folding is important because amino acids interact with each other in 3 dimensions so how they're wadded up determines how they interact and thus how the protein functions. The protein’s function is determined by: which amino acids are included, the number of those amino acids, how they are combined one to another and then how they are folded together.
The key point so far is this: thousands of different proteins within every cell enable cells to perform their essential functions. However, proteins are incredibly complex; several hundred amino acids must be combined and folded in precise three dimensional patterns or the protein won't be able to perform its function.
With all that as background, watch this short but very cool video from Illusta Media:
How cool is that? Even if you're not a science whiz, you have to marvel at all those tiny machines working together to create a protein comprised of just the right amino acids and folded in just the right way. You may need to watch the video a couple times to get the full picture. Mind boggling, right?!?!
The point here is that the complexity of the process, and all the microscopic machines needed, to create just one protein could not happen or have started to happen by chance - even over billions of years. No, it's clear that this process shows the hand of God at work. In summary, proteins and how they're created when associated with your DNA prove God exists.
Don't believe me yet? Need more DNA proof of God? Okay, this is just one piece of undeniable evidence. Keep reading to see why there's no way this process could have been created by chance over billions of years.

Douglas Axe of Cambridge University and author of Undeniable calculated that the odds of creating a single functional protein purely by chance is 1 in 10164. Here's another outstanding video from Illustra Media illustrating those odds. You really need to watch this one - it's only 3 minutes.
For the third and final part of this story, watch this next Illustra Media video that explains, using an easy to understand analogy, just how small the probability is of forming a single protein by chance. This video is a bit longer but the analogy they use is super compelling. You have to see it to believe it.
I really like the amoeba analogy. It makes the case very clearly.
So what's the point of all this discussion about the protein? It's this: here's the first full set of evidence as proof that God exists, created life and the universe and is worthy of worship. Just this first example is sufficient to prove that life was created on purpose, not by chance. God is the only possible being with the power to execute such a purpose. Those who argue the viability of life beginning on other planets or that the existence of extremophiles increases the opportunity for more primoridal ooze arguments miss the fundamental point: Life was created on purpose, not by random chance. Even Antony Flew, once a renowned atheist, found God and documented his recantation of atheism in There Is A God when confronted with these facts. We'll get into that later.

And hold on to your hat because this is just the beginning. It actually gets better!

Hey. In one of the videos it says that scientists are trying to explain how amino acids formed without chance. Can anyone explain this more?
